CCHS NAMES FINANCE VETERAN TAMI THRAUM CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. - January 5, 2009 - Cross Country Home Services, Inc. (CCHS), the leader in helping companies drive revenue and customer loyalty through a comprehensive set of home warranties, home service plans and homeowner emergency assistance programs, today announced the appointment of finance industry veteran Tami Thraum as the company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this role, Thraum will be responsible for all of CCHS’ accounting and reporting, planning and analysis, regulatory compliance, facilities and treasury operations.

Thraum was chief financial officer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Resorts where she was instrumental in improving the financial position of the company, leading it to a successful sale. Prior to joining Regent Seven Seas Cruises and Resorts, Thraum was Chief Financial Officer of Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), one of the world’s largest global travel management companies. Prior to that, Thraum was Vice President of Finance for Maritz Travel Company, another leading company in the travel industry. Earlier in her career, she spent eleven years at KPMG Peat Marwick as a senior manager serving in both the assurance and consulting practices.
